:: About the Company
Welcome to the studio of Imagination Factory's daVinci division, producers of the da Vinci and Wright Brothers' Wooden Model Kits. The US and Canadian operations meld their respective talents in the arts, multi-media, project management and fine model reproduction and design. The Canadian 3,000 foot studio, nestled along Windsor, Ontario's waterfront, is equipped to stage all manner of multi-media sculpture and display construction. Past projects include historical reproduction in fine wood carving, participatory three-dimensional displays, public art sculptures using molds and vacu-lamination fabrication, and hi-tech multi-media kiosks.
Robert Coyle brings artistic direction and extensive materials expertise to the table, while Imagination Factory's CEO Ted Bailey lends two decades of multi-media technology and design experience. Former journalist, filmmaker and marketing savant Kate McCrindle brings her project management, creative verve and writing craft to her role as Imagination Factory's Canadian president. Together, the team is equipped to execute a wide range of of educational, historical and commercial projects of a scope that also includes companion web design, conservation, media relations and graphic design.
Through their union, they will fully develop the da Vinci line of models and hope to one day stage a touring children's participatory exhibits to inspire children the 'think as da Vinci did.'
